Are you the next lucky resident of this fun, charming, happy bungalow in the Standish neighborhood of Minneapolis? We lived here for 15 years, and it’s a lovely, comfortable home that we’ve enjoyed raising our family in.

The house features a spacious and open main floor, with a large living room, and a formal dining room big enough for a full dining table. The front sun room can be a den, office, TV room (that’s what we used it as!), or whatever you need it for.

The kitchen is updated with good appliances and the cutest breakfast nook you’ll find anywhere. 

Upstairs there are two official bedrooms and an additional room without a closet above the back porch that we always used as a 3rd bed. The one bathroom is large, clean and updated, but with the classic claw-foot tub. It has a closet for all the stuff you need to store in there.

In the basement there’s a semi-finished room which can be used as a TV room, kids play area, workout room or storage. There’s a good-size utility room for laundry and extra utility space.

The garage is 1 1/2 car, which means you can’t get 2 cars in there, but there is extra space on the side for whatever you need it for, and there’s a full loft with a stairway that’s easy to access.

Left the best part for last: THE GARDEN. You get to enjoy the garden, which is a slice of paradise that we worked on for a decade and a half. It’s full of prairie plants, fruit trees, a small pond, a patio area, a pergola and a sandbox for kids. There is also a vegetable patch if you want to grow veggies.

Hiawatha Park and Lake is a 5-10-min walk, Sibley Park is a short walk as well. Enjoy great local shops and restaurants in walking distance, like A Baker’s Wife, Dave & Buster’s and the Angry Catfish.

Heat (Centerpoint), trash/water (City of Minneapolis) and fiber Internet (US Internet) are included in rent. We have the garden professionally maintained twice a year. Tenant is responsible for snow removal.
